AHOSKIE, NC – Alice Davis Rawls, age 91, passed away on February 1, 2018, at the Accordius Health at Creekside Care of Ahoskie, NC.
Mrs. Rawls was born in Hertford County, on August 28, 1926, a daughter of the late William Luke and Idonia Hughes Davis. Alice attended First Baptist Church of Ahoskie and had retired as a billing clerk for W. H. Basnight Company. She was a kind, unpretentious woman and will be greatly missed.
Besides her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her nephew, Ricki Davis; and great niece, Haley Lynn Davis.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, William Eugene Davis and wife, Barbara of Ahoskie, NC; her nephews Marty McCoy Davis and wife, Sheila of Ahoskie, NC, and Timothy Keith Davis and wife, Rhonda of Ahoskie; great nieces Kelly Nicole Gauthreux and Reagan Huskey; and great nephews, Matthew Davis, Heath Payne Davis, and Nicholas Luke Davis; and several other great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at 2:00 pm at the Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Roy Faison officiating.
