Alireza was a dedicated and skilled professional engineer who took great pride in his work. He was known for his genuine care and commitment to ensuring his customers were always satisfied. Alireza’s passion for coaching soccer was unparalleled, and he found immense joy in sharing his knowledge and love for the sport with others.

Above all, Alireza cherished his family. Also surviving is the mother of his children, Jeanne Sohooli. Alireza took great pride in the accomplishments of his children and found solace in their success. His best friend, Charles Simmons, provided him with unwavering support throughout his life. Alireza’s circle of friends and customers will forever remember his kindness and warm-hearted nature.

My first memory of my uncle Ali also marks the first time I met him at 6 years old.

He picked us up from the airport as we arrived to the United States from Iran, the year was 1985.

Ali brought 3 Care Bear dolls for myself and two younger sisters. I will never forget his kindness from that day and throughout my life.

In January 2022, Ali was able to visit with us including my mother (Pary Sohooli) and my two sisters (Sara & Bobby Basu and Paria Shirvani) and our daughters Ruby and Ellie. I had to work out of
town for part of that time. Ali captured loving moments of our daughters putting on a Christmas play he recorded all 12 minutes and sent this to me in my absence.

Ali’s absence now has left an emptiness in the hearts of many. He will always be remembered for his loving nature and kindness. I am honored to have captured a glimpse of the joy you felt throughout your life and especially over this past year.

May you rest in peace my sweet uncle Ali.

I am so very sorry to hear of Ali’s passing. He was such a kind person who always smiled. I appreciate the kindness he showed my mother, and brother, who were his neighbors. Ali was gifted in his profession and shared his talents with others. Friends have shared Ali was an excellent soccer coach. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
