AULANDER, NC – Mr. Armando Grissino, age 92, of Main Street, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Grissino was born on April 2, 1929 to Diomede and Anna Maria Borelli Grissino in New York, NY. He enjoyed working on his property, helping others when he could, flowers, trees, and genealogy. Armando loved Italian cooking and spending time with his family. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jeanie Grissino, sisters, Mary and Gloria Grissino, and brothers, Diomede, Jimmy, Victor, Anthony, and Henry Grissino.
Armando is survived by two sons, John Grissino and wife Sherry of Burlington, NC, and Armando D. Grissino and wife Kim of Palm Bay, FL; two granddaughters, Anna Grissino, and Maria Grissino, both of Burlington, NC; two grandsons, Sean Grissino of Burlington, NC, and Anthony Grissino; and a brother, Lenny Grissino.
The family will plan a celebration of life service at a later time

John, I’m so sorry about your Dad. He was amazing to get on the Zoom calls with us in his 90s figuring out that technology. And, his stories were even more amazing. I hope that you and your family share more memories with all of the Grissino families.
