Bernie enjoyed riding motorcycles and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Cox Young, his father, Leroy Williams, and his wife, Sharon Barnes Edwards Williams.

I knew Bernie for many years as he ,like myself played guitar. We both talked at our last high school reunion and i told him of the one night that i went to Tuscarora Beach and he and his band were performing. Bernie,i told him,you were making that guitar talk.Bernie was a good guy, always friendly and a big music lover and guitarist. My condolences to his family.
