Dear Gay, Ginger, & Family,
Just heard about your mama, what a beautiful picture and wonderful mother she was. I know that because you are her testimony of grace, values and what community is about. I get home as much as I can and think of you often, always thinking I’ll make it to see Gay for a visit, but given the short amount of time, I try to spend it with my mama & daddy. Will make the effort to see you this summer. Will give you a call. My prayers are with to find solace in the wonderful memories of you mama. God Bless You all!

On behalf of my late husband who was cousin of Skinny Lyon, I would like to offer my deepest condolences in the death of Betty. I was unaware of her death until this morning when I read the obituary. I thought of her often after Skinny died and regret not visiting her. Betty was a lovely, kind and hospitable lady with a winning smile. She will be missed butI know she is in a better place. All the family have my deepest sympathy.
With love,
Mary Baker

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Bett. I remember so many good times with you guys. I remember the Sundays playing at Granddaddy’s and Granny’s house and the visits to Joe Redden’s store. I remember one time at your house Aunt Bett cooked hamburgers and we ate them right off the table. It was probably the best hamburger I ever ate. I think that same day we went to Mr. Hoggard’s watermelon patch and ate until we were about to bust. I know your Mom loved each of you very much. She was very special. I know for a fact that no matter what I believed in or where my life was at the time, Aunt Bett loved me and everyone else for that matter for just who you were. She never judged. I am sorry I can not be with you tomorrow but know that you are in my heart and in my prayers. I love you all!

Ginger,
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mama. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ginger & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Life takes turns so quickly in joyous ways & in ways of sorrow sometimes. I am sure
that, if your mother could talk with you, she would express that she is most glad not to have suffered any longer than she did. Isn’t there always something we can be thankful for in the midst of the most difficult of circumstances?
I am praying for you & hope that each day that passes will gradually become easier to handle as you reside in Jesus Christ. He is our hiding place (Psalm 91), & He will renew us in times like this. May God bless you!
Glenda,
I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I know that this is a difficult time for you & and your family. I’m keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.May God give you & your family strength to get
through this difficult time.
Gloria,
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of you mother. I know that this is a difficult time for you & your family. I’m keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. May God continue to bless you & give you strength
during this difficult time.
