Brenda Hope Allen Mitchell, age 44, of Hollowell Road, died Thursday, January 17, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Mitchell was born in Halifax County on April 23, 1968, a daughter of Martin Douglas Allen and the late Evelyn Hope Smith Allen. She was a homemaker.
Besides her father, Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Michael Andrew Mitchell, her daughter, Lindsey Hope Mitchell; and her son Michael Andrew Mitchell, Jr., all of the home. She is also survived by her sister, Vicky Clay and husband, Robert of Halifax, NC.


I am so sorry to hear of Brenda’s passing. I did not have any idea until today. I will keep the family in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

We all loved Brenda so much. I am so grateful she and my cousin Michael met and married. She brought so much love and joy to his life. We all miss her very much. My prayers are with you Michael,Lindsey, Andrew, Vicky, and Mr. Allen.
