I grew up beside his daughter Rose which gave me the opportunity to meet all of her family. Mr. New was always smiling and the sweetest person ever. I could see if he drove up from my yard and I would always run to Rose’s to see Paw Paw. Everytime, I was greeted with , “Hi darling” and a kiss. He was not my grandaddy but he was my Paw Paw too.
