carolyn was a sweet lady who will be missed by a lot of people she was a person who would help who ever she could any thing she could do her brother albert summer i worked with him at the sheriffs office for a long time he was specail too
For more than 75 years I have visited Ahoskie, which my parents left in 1933. In all those visits, until today, the short visit with Carolyn was a highlight. Even as a young child who was not always comfortable around older relatives, I looked forward to an encounter with Carolyn. My first cousin was always fun — lively, irreverent, interested in me and my family, loving and caring. My mother — her Aunt Pearle — adored Carolyn. So did my brother, Tommy, and I. Our lives are poorer now without Carolyn, but our memories of her are rich and lasting. And we know that we shall meet again.
My deepest sympathy to the family at this very difficult time. May you find comfort in God’s word the Bible at Revelation 21:3,4.
Wonderful lady
Worked with Carolyn at the Hertford County Health Department for several years and she was a joy to work with and beside. She kept us laughing and entertained. Many fond memories.
