Shirley, Mom called me to let me know that Cedric had passed away. What a great person he was. I remember when I was in high school I worked at the Ahoskie Dept Store one summer. The next summer I told mom that I wanted to barn tobaco, so Cedric picked up very early in the morning and I can tell you I had the best time with all the other people that worked, and I even got to ride in front with him since you and Cedric were friends of Mom & Dad and I felt special. I will never forget that when I think of Cedric. Please know that Ronny and I are thinking of you. You are in our prayers. Sincerely, Elaine S. Ray

Cedric was a good man and a great friend. I enjoyed many days hunting and other days just sitting around talking to him and the other hunters at his preserve. He will be missed. Our condolences go out to his family from Mr. and Mrs. David L. Jones Jr.

You don’t know me, but I’m a distant relative, and only recently learned that I was related to Cedric. I regret that I never had the chance to meet Cedric.

May God’s grace comfort you in this time of sorrow.

To Mrs. Pierce, Gray, and family. I was deeply saddened to learn of Cedric’s passing and wish to convey my deepest

sympathy. I have many fond memories of

Cedric on my many, but all too infrequent visits to the shooting preserve and he will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

With deepest sympathy,

Randy O’Neal
