Me. Evans was a very good human being. I recall those days when I would enter his store and buy clothes and he always made me feel welcomed and special. You don’t see that much anymore. My sincere condolences to the family.

I will always have great memories of years ago, going into the store and always greeted by this gentle man. No matter if he was busy or not, he always stopped to talk. Sometimes, I would go in just to see that wonderful smile. My thoughts are with the family and may their wonderful memories help them through the difficult times.

I will sorely miss this neighbor of ours, The Johnsons. When he was able to walk his beloved dog, I would be able to time my wave through my kitchen window to him the same time each day. A great connection with a beautiful soul. Would not visit as of late because of this virus threat so missed the interaction. May he rest in peace as Murfreesboro mourns the loss of another rock from the base of its foundation. It is so true “that they just don’t make like that anymore”. To all family members, I feel your loss. Lynn Johnson
