Charles Fred Middleton, 86, went to his heavenly home on Friday, December 25, 2020.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Cemetery in Scotland Neck. A memorial service is planned for the coming summer.
Charles was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He was born in Daytona Beach, Florida but spent the majority of his life in NC. He faithfully served as a Southern Baptist Pastor for over 50 years. He will be remembered for his love of God, a heart for ministry, sacrificial giving to others, a love for good food, and a wonderful sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mildred Mizell Middleton. Charles is survived by his daughters, Freda M. Tricarico and husband Dan, of Thomasville, Malene M. Georgeson and husband Chris, of Bay City, Texas, and Penny M. Hill and husband Clay, of Rolesville; his sister Beatrice Coker of Marietta, Georgia, and his sister-in-law Brenda Anderson of Rocky Mount. He was lovingly known as Pop-Pop to his five grandchildren, Toni Tricarico, Andrew Georgeson, Miranda Georgeson, Scott Hill and wife Michelle, and Amanda Hill. Charles also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Jacee Hamright, Lucas Hill, and Colin Hill.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s passing, I’d been hoping visitation would resume and Kyle and I could go visit and take him some Banana pudding. Please know my thoughts and Prayers are with you and the family. Your dad was a amazing/ Funny man and he will surely be missed.
