“You miss them all, the greats who must go away. You miss the quiet pillar of strength. But missed the most of all are the “outrageous” ones, like our daddy, who never fit a world that seems to grow smaller with each passing generation-the bright, bold, joyous, furious ones who never unpromised, never complained. The man who would never ask, nor expected, to be long remembered, the humble man that will be never forgotten by family, or his loved small town that was Charles Graham.”

Dear Rhonda, Katie and I have special memories of visiting your mom and dad when all of you were small. And I remember you came to my wedding and then years later brought Maris over to Pat’s graveside service. We have lost touch with so many “Howard” family members over the years, but wanted you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time. Our love to Maris, too.
