Charles Walter Parker, age 55, died on August 30, 2015, at the Vidant Medical Center of Greenville, NC
Mr. Parker was born in Hertford County on September 18, 1959, a son of the late Carl William and Dorothy Johnson Parker. Chuck was a graduate of Ahoskie High School, a member of Hickory Chapel Free Original Free Will Baptist Church, and a farmer. He was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed water skiing, and jet skiing. Chuck was a kind and gentle man which was evident in his love of dogs.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Bill Parker and wife, Ardie of Como, NC; his sister, Linda White and husband, Walter of Ahoskie NC; 5 nieces; and 5 nephews.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm at Garrett Sykes Funeral Service Ahoskie Chapel, and other times at the home of his sister, Linda White.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at 3:00 pm at the Garrett Sykes Funeral Service Ahoskie Chapel, with Rev. Jim Skipper, officiating. Burial will follow in the Parker Williams Family Cemetery, Ahoskie, NC.
