Luke, I’m glad you were my cousin and I cherish all the memories we made during summers on Norman and Hildas farm in Scotland Neck. i remember the mean chickens chasing us, picking vegetables, eating Hildas awesome meals, especially her collards, biscuits and cakes, you driving the pickup to dump the wastewater in the fields when you were about 12 and all the great times swimming and dancing at the Scout Pond! I didn’t see you enough in our adult years but I thought of you often. Im so glad that Abel and Candida got to meet you in 2013,when we said goodbye to Hilda. Fly high Luke and enjoy that heavenly choir. Until we meet again.

You showed me what a daddy was supposed to be! From being there when I had my son Sabastian to helping me got on my feet. I’ll never forget how we all met, being a witness to your marriage of 23 years, and all your funny songs! I love you daddy forever and always!!!
