Don Northcott

Don Northcott age 62 of Trap died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Pitt Memorial Hospital. He was born April 23, 1948 in Bertie Co. to the late Virgil I. Northcott and Louise Perry Northcott.

He was a graduate of East Carolina University, worked as Manager for North Eastern Grain, owned and operated Trap Farm Supply and J. and N. Enterprises and was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Bob Johnson and Rev. Billy Presley will officiate.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 32 years Marie Northcott, a son Donald Ray Northcott, Jr. and his wife Nina of Trap, a sister Dale Knowles of Windsor, a brother Virgil Northcott of Ahoskie and a grandson Alexander Northcott.

The family will receive friends at the home, 1342 Meadow Rd, Trap.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Carolyn and Virgil,
