Donald Eugene “Don” Handy, 62, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Victory Praise and Worship Center in Scotland Neck. The Reverend Aubrey Spear and the Reverend Ralph Leggett will be presiding.
Don is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Handy; daughters, Stephanie Pilgreen of Scotland Neck and Jennifer Pilgreen of Roanoke Rapids; brother, Jim Handy and wife Susan of Leesburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Alexus Whitaker, Antarius Whitaker, and Jayla Whitaker.
The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Victory Praise and Worship Center, P.O. Box 491, Scotland Neck, NC 27874.
Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
