Dorothy Conner Harrell, age 87 of Rich Square, died on May 22, 2014 at the Rich Square Health Care Center of Rich Square, NC
She was born on June 25, 1926 to William and Clemmer Conner in Rich Square, NC. Mrs. Harrell was married to the late James Harlee Harrell for sixty-one years. Dorothy worked as a Bookkeeper for Williams Auto Sells of Courtland, VA, Pope Motors of Rich Sqaure, NC and Lassiter’s Used Cars of Rich Square, NC. She was a member of the Rich Square Baptist Church and was the secretary of the adult women’s Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by husband, James Harlee Harrell, mother, Clemmer Conner, father, William Jackson Conner and brother, Willie Wayne Conner.
Dorothy is survived by her five nieces, Anita Blythe of Rich Square, NC, Teresa Duke and her husband Billy of Conway, NC, Nelda Helmer and her husband Gary of Rich Square, NC, Brenda Knight of Raleigh, NC, Diane Ackerman and her husband Jim of Hertford, NC; nephew, Larry Knight and his wife Jean of Fayetteville, NC; two sister-In-Laws, Geraldine Tucker of Ahoskie, NC and Florence Conner of Rich Square, NC. Also surviving are several great nieces and nephews.
