Douglas Earley Springfield, 64, of Cofield, passed away on June 14, 2014 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice in Greenville, NC.
He was born on November 2, 1949 to William and Margaret Earley Springfield at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Douglas worked as a Welder and was self-employed.He was preceded in death by his father, William Earley Springfield.
Doug is survived by his mother, Margaret Earley Springfield, his sister, Peggy Lou Springfield, both of Ahoskie, NC, his aunt, Mrs. James N. Earley of Chesapeake, VA., and numerous cousins and friends.
The family and friends will scatter cremains at a later time.
