I have had the blessing of calling and knowing “uncle B” for 21 years I am sadden beyond words, this holiday season was not the same without him. I will not know what to do without hearing from him, he always wrote and encouraged me in anything I did,why God took him is a mystery as he was so encouraged when practicing walking at the ahoskie house,I wanted to visit however, he wanted me to wait until he was better, perhaps he wanted me to re: him the last time I saw him in the rehab. center in Va.great humor, and only hugs and loads of love my heart is weighing so heavy with the rest of “our” family missing him …there is a big hole in my heart that can never be replaced …See you later Uncle B I’m sure heaven is laughing up a storm with all your jokes god speed and holding you in my heartxoxoxo

my heart weighs so very heavy…after 30 some years of friendship, earl became a huge part of “our” family he was so loving, kind, and our hearts go out to his family, I want to thank Ms.Helen Vinson for keeping me posted on his condition. I spoke to earl eveyday a.m. and p.m., all he yearned for was to come home to his beautiful lovely haven he created over the years we would sit for hours on end discussing faith and pure spiritual love. I spoke to him the eve. before his passing “I love you, Ilove you and don’t you ever 4get that” I will only miss these words but most of all his giggles, jokes and endearing visits to see and meet all his friends in N.C. God holds him now and he is my angel watching over. I have lost my Best friend, my spiritual angel who got me thru so many things. He requested only to remember him full of life and love This I can and will honor

Our thoughts and prayers are with Earl’s family. We knew Earl from Long’s. He was a genuine and great friend. We will miss him.
