The interment will follow the service at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Rich Square, North Carolina. Rev. Lamar Wheeler and Rev. Robert Hill will be officiating.

Mr. Edward Lee ‘Dunnie’ Timberlake, Jr., died at the Rich Square Health Care Center on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Mr. Timberlake was a native of Northampton County. He was married to Sarah Frances Timberlake in 1951 and to them was born four wonderful sons. Mr. Timberlake worked all his life as a farmer. He was also co-owner of Woodland Manufacturing and owner of E.L. Timberlake and Sons Peanut Warehouse. He was a member of the Woodland Baptist Church and the Woodland Men’s Club. Following the death of Sarah Frances he was later married to Sarah Wall Timberlake in 2004 and to the family were added three stepdaughters and a stepson.

Preceding him also in death is his mother, Elizabeth Brown Timberlake, his father Edward Lee Timberlake, his son William ‘Bill’ Lassiter Timberlake, two brothers; William B. Timberlake and Gilbert B. Timberlake. Also preceding him in death is his step great grandson, Theron M. Chlomoudis.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah W. Timberlake of the home, three sons; Edward Lee Timberlake and his wife Bonnie of Concord, NC, Charles B. Timberlake, Sr. and his wife Jean of Woodland, NC and Frank Timberlake also of Woodland; one sister, Frances D. Jordan of Richmond, VA, ten grandchildren,; Lee Timberlake, Bill Timberlake, Stacey Lambert and her husband Cale, Sara D. Timberlake, Elizabeth B. Timberlake, Charles B. Timberlake, Michael Chlomoudis and his wife Geannine, John Michael Timberlake, Shelby Lynn Timberlake and Kendall Riddick Timberlake. three stepdaughters; Joella T. Brown and her husband Johnny of Jackson, NC, Myrtle T. Earley and her husband Randy of Garner, NC and Sandra T. Brannen and her husband Gary of Cary, NC, one stepson,, Sam C. Turner, Jr. and his wife Candace of Roanoke Rapids, NC and seven step grand children; Lyndal Brown, Parker Brown, Iva Earley, Thomas Earley, Austin Brannen, Curtis Brannen and Lauren Turner. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
