AHOSKIE, NC – Eileen Frances Goll, age 76, of Ahoskie, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the ECU Health Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina. She was born to Charles Fredericks and Helen Marie Mend Fredericks on December 16, 1947, in Long Island, New York.

Eileen lived a life filled with pursuits that brought her joy and fulfillment. She found solace and adventure within the pages of her favorite books, indulging in the worlds crafted by beloved authors. Sudoku puzzles challenged her mind and provided moments of quiet contemplation. Cooking brought her not only sustenance but also a creative outlet for her culinary experiments. Her love for all animals knew no bounds, and she found comfort and companionship in their presence. Fascinated by Native American history, Eileen delved into the rich tapestry of traditions and stories that resonated with her soul. Her vacations were always planned to include visits to wolf parks and Pow wows, as she cherished the opportunity to immerse herself in the culture and heritage that held a special place in her heart. Eileen’s spirit will be remembered for her profound appreciation of literature, her dedication to unraveling the mysteries of Sudoku, her culinary prowess, her compassion towards all creatures, and her deep reverence for Native American heritage. Though she may have departed this world, her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Charles Fredericks.

Eileen is survived by her beloved husband, Conrad “Butch” Goll, her son, Gene Goll and fiancé Shonda Walden of Ahoskie; two nieces, Crystal Searfoss and husband Mark of Ohio, and Sharlotte Vernon and her family of Missouri; a great niece, Alexis Pestotnik and husband Adam of Georgia; a brother, James Phillip Fredericks of Texas; a sister-in-law, Judy Fredericks of Norfolk, VA; and a former daughter-in-law, Danette Siekkinen of Michigan.
