Mrs. Elizabeth Willoughby ‘Libby’ Morris, age, 91, died Sunday, December 15, 2013, at Pine Forest Rest Home in Woodland, NC.

Mrs. Morris was born in Washington County, NC on July 13, 1922, a daughter of the late Kate Darden and John Beasley Willoughby. She was a faithful member of Aulander Baptist Church; the Joy Club; the Aulander Civic League; and the Aulander Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary. Libby was a homemaker; a wonderful cook; and avid gardener, enjoying working in her yard.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Everett Leon ‘Buddy’Morris, Jr., and wife, Emily Rose, of Mountain Brook, AL; Billy ‘Bill’ Morris and wife, Vicky, of Greenville, NC, and John Lewis ‘Jack’ Morris of Aulander, NC; ten grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Beside her parents, Libby was predeceased by her husband, Everett Leon Morris, Sr.; and brothers, John E. Willoughby, and Billy Day Willoughby.
