Estella Hinojosa Garza, 73, died Friday, August 20, 2010, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital. She was born in Alice, Texas on February 13, 1937. She was a devoted and caring aid to those in the nursing home. Estella was always known for her hard work.

Estella was preceded in death by her parents, Rosa and Hermilo Hinojosa; two sisters, Delores Perez and Odeila Veldez and one brother Hermilo Hinojosa.

Estella is survived by her son, Robert Garza and his wife Sheila of Woodland, NC, three sisters; Julie Hinojosa and her husband Ralph of Benbolt, Texas, Alicia Hinojosa and her husband Florencio of Alice, Texas and Nena Falcon of Olney, Texas, two brothers; Sammy Hinojosa of Olney, Texas and Danny Hinojosa and his wife Mary of Olney, Texas, two grandchildren; Crystal Garza and Brandi Garza of Woodland, NC, and one great grandchild, Miranda Moyer of Woodland, NC.

We are so sorry for your loss. Tia Tiller was a beautiful, loving, funny lady and we loved her so much! I have so many wonderful memories of her and mom together….they were indeed best friends! She will always be in our hearts! You are in our prayers! Love you!
