Aunt Eunice was a very special lady. I didn’t get to see her often, but I will miss seeing her smile and eating her chicken pastry. Love to all of the Family during this time.

My memories of Eunice at family reunions are warm and joyful. Eunice lived life rich in love and compassion that comes from  knowing the Lord. Though family and friends missed her company this Christmas; I am reminded of a prayer from Simeon after seeing the baby Jesus.
“Now, Lord, You are letting Your bond-servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation, Which You have prepared in the presence of all the peoples: A light for revelation for the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.” Luke 2:29-32
