Frank was a member of the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department and EMT with Hamilton Rescue. He was very active in the American Legion Post 131 in Hamilton where he served as a Commander. He was well-known for carrying the American Flag in the annual parade and Memorial Day events. One of Frank’s greatest honors was to present the flag to the next of kin at funerals of those that served in the military. He was a lifelong member of Hamilton Church of Christ serving as an Elder and Deacon. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, reading, playing softball, and umpiring rec ball. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He lived the definition of an honorable man. Frank will be greatly missed by those that had the honor of meeting him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Etha Mobley and multiple siblings.

Franklin is survived by his wife Judy, two daughters, Lindy Mobley (Bedford) Mundell of Bethel and Jessica Mobley (Croce) Amato of Enfield; a son, Franklin Brandon (Holly Pieper) Mobley of Hamilton; three grandsons, Michael, Tyler, and Cameron; five granddaughters, Christina, Katilynn, Lauryn, Cadence, and Alessia; one great-granddaughter, Gabriella; a sister, Beulah Stalls; and a brother, Bud Mobley.
