So many great memories of growing up together and all the love the Miss Gertrude poured out on us. She was one of those I remember as a “2nd mama” I had as a child. Lots of love and prayers to each of you! ~ Greg

To Shirley and family, I am so sorry. I can remember my Mama talking about your Mom from the sewing factory days. Mama thought very highly of your Mom and she would tell you so in a New York minute. Mama said she was a STRONG lady. Thoughts and prayers for you at this time, be strong.
