Haywood Clayton Rogers, Sr., 65, died Monday, February 11, 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Hobgood Cemetery in Hobgood.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Haywood was preceded in death by his wife, Regina House Rogers.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon R. Hedgepeth and husband Jeff of Nashville; his son, Haywood Clayton “Clay” Rogers, Jr. and wife Terry of Tarboro; his sister, Mary Ann Medford and husband Bruce of Norfolk, VA; his brothers, Norman Rogers and wife Melba, Donnie Rogers and wife Eva, and Walter Rogers and wife Susan all of Tarboro and Larry Rogers and wife Evelyn of Rocky Mount; and four grandchildren, Madison Rogers, Hunter Rogers, Clayton Hedgepeth, and Julianne Hedgepeth.
