Henry Edward Creel, Jr., age 74, of Harrellsville, passed away on May 7, 2015 at his home, with his loving daughter by his side.
Mr. Creel was born on October 27, 1940 to the late Henry Edward and Mae Taylor Creel in Kinston, NC. Henry was retired as an Office Foreman for Carolina Telephone.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
Left to cherish Henry’s memory are his daughters, Sherwynn C. Best and husband, Greg of Rich Square, NC, Teresa C. Ashley of Wilkesboro, NC, and Michele C. Hamm and husband Danny of Harmony, NC; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Sabrina, Logan, Chris, Matthew, and Sarah Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Ella, and Jordan.
The family will receive friends at Mr. Creel’s home at 119 Taylor’s Way in Harrellsville, NC.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 11:00 am at the Garrett Sykes Funeral Service Ahoskie Chapel, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Bob Rogers, officiating.
