I have many good memories of Hilton when he was just a young boy visiting Proctor’s Store for candy and ice cream. TC, Macy, Hilton and Teresa lived just a few houses from us. My Dad was always teasing Hilton about something. Miss you my military brother, God rest your soul with your Dad, Mom and Sister.

Jon & I met Hilton when we moved to NC on the river. A few years later our motor home was hit by a tornado & was demolished. Hilton came to our aide & let us rent his Mother’s house for a while. Such a kind & thoughtful person. We moved away 2 years later but Hilton & Jon remained good friends & talked often over the years. I know Jon will miss those chats. He was a good friend. God Bless Him ❤️

Hilton was our neighbor for over 12 years. Hilton was an avid Sportsman. I will miss his texts and emails, where he asked if I was awake yet? or watching soaps on TV. He was a a Great neighbor and Friend! He will be missed! Cliff & Jean Kumpf

I was so sad to learn of Hilton’s passing. He was the best landlord ever for the past 17 years, even though he would tell me every day that I could break an anvil! I loved his voice, and that he kept me laughing.

R.I.P., Hilton. I used to hear tales of Hilton’s adventures from his cousin, Glenda.

I remember hunting with Hilton and my dad, Ronnie. He loved it! He came alive when he was talking about it. I will miss him dreadfully. And I will remember his voice and that Miller face whenever I see deer.
