I’m saddened to hear of Inez’s passing. I worked at Eddie Harrell’s of Ahoskie from 1991 to 2006. Inez worked the register and was the most pleasant lady you will ever meet. I really enjoyed talking with Inez. She was a special lady. Prayer to the family.

We were so fortunate that Mom (Granny Bracy) was able to visit us here in Indianapolis often and be here for Odie IV’s and Shannon’s, graduations and weddings. We all love her very much and we will miss her greatly.

We have had the privilege of knowing Inez for over thirty years. She was loved by friends and family alike. She will be missed and we will continue to pray for Inez and her family. We will never forget the good food Inez and her husband Odie provided by maintaining the BEST restaurant in Ahoskie.

I loved your mom. She was always so kind and friendly to me. I can hear her sweet voice greeting me in the backyard. Always caring about others. I’m so glad she was a part of my childhood as were all of you. She’s home now and I bet she and Burnell and my mom are neighbors again. I’m holding you close to my heart and you are in my prayers.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My mother, Nancy Dowdy, worked for The Bracys for several years at The Tomahawk and Carolina Cookin. Lots of good memories.
