Irene E. Harrington passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Virginia Hospital Center.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Harry Harrington: daughter Jerrie Harrington: and grandchildren: Nicole, Gabriella, Marielle, Faith, and Wolfgang.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Everly Wheatley Funeral Home, 1500 W. Braddock Rd., Alexandria, VA, 22302.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capital Caring, 2900 Telestar Ct., Falls Church, VA 22042.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 7:00- 8:30 PM at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service, Rich Square, NC.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Hwy 258, Rich Square, NC. Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service will be handling the local arrangements.
