Irene Taylor Lassiter

Irene Taylor Lassiter age 90, of Aulander, died on February 19, 2016 at the Vidant Bertie Hospital of Windsor, NC

She was born on May 19, 1925 to the late John and Maggie Taylor.  She was married to Starkey “Fiddler” Lassiter. Mrs. Lassiter was a member of the Millennium Pentecostal Holiness Church in Aulander.

Preceding her in death other than her mother and father are nine brothers and sisters.

Irene is survived by her nephew, Danny Yost and his wife Wanda of Macclesfield, NC.

There will be a Time of Remembrance at 3:00pm on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service in Ahoskie, North Carolina. The family will visit following the service.
