DATELINE: MILLBROOK, ALABAMA
Mr. James “Bunk” Miller, age 74, of Millbrook, Alabama passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. Bunk was born in Colerain, North Carolina on July 24. 1944 to James and Ida Miller. He was a truck driver for 36 years before retiring in 2000. Bunk served our Country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. Bunk was a member of American Legion for 23 years and his hobbies included, restoring antique cars and trucks, for which he won many awards, along with being a huge Nascar fan.
Besides his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law; Clarence White, and Carol Ward.
Left to cherish Bunk’s memory are, his Son, Jimmy Mizelle of Nags Head, NC, his step-daughter, Joyce Moye and her husband BJ of Prattville, Alabama, his sisters; Doris White of Moyock, NC, Bessie Ann Lassiter of Ahoskie, NC, and Elaine Ward of Sunbury, NC; his brother, Tommy Miller and his wife Kay of Washington, NC; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2:00PM at American Legion Post 133 in Millbrook, Alabama for his family and friends there. *****ATTENTION***** A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30PM at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, Colerain, NC with Pastor Troy Bordeaux, of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church, and BJ Moye officiating.

I am so sad. He was my friend . we kept in touch thru the years. 50 of them as a matter of fact. He was a nice person. I hate that word cancer. Its taking everyone we know. May God be with the family in this time. Lots of Hugs.
