I was surprised when learning of Jimmy’s passing. During the early years, I used to often babysit both Jimmy and Steve. They were good kids then and from other’s condolences, sounds to have carried into adulthood. Blessings to both Jimmy’s family as well as Steve’s
Julie and family – my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Jimmy had a wonderful sense of humor and dedicated his life to the community in which he served. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

To Jimmy’s family,
I got to know Jimmy when we (Garysburg VFD) had calls and EMS was needed. He was such a caring, kind, compassionate and dedicated person. He could always find something to say that would make me laugh. He will truly be missed. Sending prayers to all of you and thank you for sharing him with Northampton County!
Our thoughts and prayers are with Julie and the family. We are so sorry for your loss. Jimmy was a very nice guy. Love, Debbie and Stu Martin
A good friend of mine Betty Jo Slozak who grew up down the street from my cousin Joyce and her husband Pete just called to let me know the sad news of Jimmy’s passing. I wish we had stayed in closer communication over the years. I remember Jimmy as a child and young man and am so pleased that his life was blessed with a close and loving family and a life full of meaningful service to others. I am the only one left of Agnes Lassiter Bandy’s children and I have no children. However my brothers Ed and John had six children, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. So love and condolences from all of your many cousins.
My mast sincere sympathy for the family. Jimmy was a Good man who will be missed by many. May God Bless you all.
Julie and Family,
