HARRELLSVILLE, NC – Jerry Finis Mabry, age 69, passed away on March 18, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Jerry was born in Gates County, NC, on August 3, 1950, a son of the late Eugene and Sally Fowler Mabry. Jerry worked as a Lithographer, having worked for Pierce Printing in Ahoskie, NC, and later Eden House Graphics in Edenton, NC. Jerry was an outdoorsman and enjoyed golfing and fishing, but most of all enjoyed his antique cars.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Pat Mabry, David Mabry, and John Paul Mabry, and a step son, Kevin W. Higgins.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife Rachel, a son, Eric Scott Mabry and wife, Shannon of Ayden, NC; his granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Mabry of Ayden, NC; two brothers, Lloyd Mabry and wife, Debbie of DeFuniak, FL, and Thomas Mabry and wife, Diane of Ashe, NC; and his sister, Diane M. Ricks and husband, Bill of VA.

The family will receive friends at any time at the home.

Due to the Governor’s executive order and the CDC’s recommendations, a private graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at 2:00 pm at the Harrellsville Cemetery, Harrellsville, NC, with Jerry Hunnicutt, officiating.

Had a nice talk with Jerry less than a year ago. I stopped by one day randomly as I hadn’t seen Mrs Rachel or Jerry in quite a while. We discussed his car and my motorcycle for a bit. I could really tell how much pride he had in that car. Told me it was converted into a coupe, they didn’t make them that way. I wish I could remember the model. Jerry, I am sure you have much to enjoy in heaven sir, God bless you and yours. You will be missed

My wife really enjoyed working with Jerry at PIerce Printers. He was a Great friend of mine also. We sure enjoyed playing Golf together. He will be really missed by a lot of his Friends. GOD has a GREAT ANGEL.
