Jimmy and Maxine were two of my mothers greatest friends. She thought so highly of them and i knew Jimmy ,along with his wife,as two very honest and admiral people. Mama always stayed in touch with them after she moved to western north carolina.
I am so sorry to hear this, what a sweet gentle loving man. He and Maxine would come to Ahoskie to attend Liberty some years ago. They were so special, you couldn’t get any better. Pure love. Thoughts and prayers for peace and comfort to you all.
Mr. Greer was only my father in law for 5 years but I knew him much longer. I have a daughter that is his grandchild. I loved him like a father and will miss him dearly.
I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Jimmie. He was a sweet man and he loved Ms. Maxine dearly. Keeping you all in my prayers. Heaven gained a sweet angel…
