Johanna Collins age 65, passed away on September 10, 2023 at the Scotland Manor of Scotland Neck.
She was born on September 9, 1958, to Raymond and Josefa Rapier in Germany.
Johanna was the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back to keep you warm. She had a love for animals. She owned dogs, cats, birds and rabbits throughout her life. She enjoyed going hunting in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey with her late husband, Steve. Johanna also enjoyed helping her community and volunteering at the Jackson Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Josefa Rapier.
Johanna is survived by her father, Raymond Rapier of Sunbury, son, Lee Collins of Roanoke Rapids; brother, Erwin Collins of Warsaw; four sisters, Caroline Lamothe of Mobile, AL, Roseanne Sherman of Sunbury, Doris McLean and her husband David of Elizabeth, NJ, Darlene Mertz and her husband Bryan of Virginia Beach, VA. Also surviving is her granddaughter, Amber Rodenhofer and husband Seth of Ft. Meyers, Fl and a great grandson, Jasper Rodenhofer.
