To Jo Cobb’s family: I only got to know Jo in the past few months. As a volunteer for Riverside Hospice program, I would stop in and spend time with her. We shared travel stories, memories of when we were youngsters. Jo always expressed her love for her husband, her mother and sister and her niece and other extended family members. Jo was a sweet Southern lady. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I know she will be missed by many.

I don’t know who wrote the obituary for our dear friend Jo but thank you so much. Jo was a very special lady and her Sunday School Class (New Beginnings at Smithfield Baptist Church) loved and adored her. She was always the life of the party and to know her was to absolutely love her. She will be so missed. When I visited her she talked about “going home” a lot and she meant going home to Heaven. On September 3rd, she graduated to Heaven and to the many folks that were waiting there for her, it was a very special day. She will always have a special place in my heart. I loved her like a sister.
