AULANDER, NC- Julian Ervin Brittenham Jr.,age 47, of Caroline St, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at his home.
Julian was born on January 27, 1974, in Hertford County, NC to Julian and Joyce Dunning Brittenham. Julian had the biggest heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever and wherever he could. Him and his mother had a very special bond and it was often said “it is a bond that could not be broken”. Julian loved his niece and nephews and they brought so much joy to his life. He was well loved by all who knew him and he will be missed dearly.
Julian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Josh and Lucy Brittenham; and his maternal grandparents, J.B and Margaret Walters Dunning.
Along with his parents, Julian is survived by his two sisters, Lisa Ann Conner and husband Tim of Ahoskie, and Julie Marie Dye and husband Shane of Ahoskie; two nephews, Michael Shane Dye and Matthew Thomas Dye both of Ahoskie; a niece, Heather Nicole Dye of Ahoskie; three aunts, Betty Smith and husband Lloyd “Bucky” of Severn, Elva Jean Brittenham Barmer of Woodland, and Nancy Joanna Brittenham of Ahoskie; an uncle, James “Benny” Dunning of Louisville, KY as well as numerous other family and friends.
Per the families wishes, there will be no service at this time. Please continue to keep the Brittenham family in your thoughts and prayers.
