Joyce and Family,
Your mother was a dear friend of my grandmother, Mildred Jernigan, and I went with Grandma many times to visit Miss Lila, as well as the many meetings that the ladies had at Grandma’s home and Miss Lila was there also. I remember her as a very sweet lady, with “a lotta class.” She was truly one of the memories I keep from my growing-up years with my own grandparents. May God be with you in this time of sorrow. Best wishes to you.
Joyce, our thoughts and prayers are with you durng this time of sorrow and I want you to know that I am as near as my phone 252-395-2318 to do anything you need help with. I am keeping a watchful eye on Rachael, to make sure she does not over do.
with love, Aophia
