Lillian Kafer Jones, 96, died Sunday, November 11, 2007.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck. The Reverend Roger Cope will be presiding.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Elliott Jones; and her son, Buck Upchurch.
She is survived by her daughters, Nannette Todd and husband Gene and Cheryl Casper and husband Horace all of Scotland Neck; son, Greg Jones and wife Brenda of Scotland Neck; sister, Mildred Grizzard of Scotland Neck; daughter-in-law, JoAnne Upchurch of Walterboro, SC; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and special friends and caregivers, Mary A. Smith, Josephine Smith, and Viola Carr.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
