Thoughts and prayers are with you both. Having been there myself, I can show empathy with you. Hope to see you Easter and am so sorry I could not be there for you personally when you needed me like I needed you when Jeffrey went home to God.

Henry, I am so sorry to hear about Lori. Debbie called me yesterday and told me. I have thought about her often. I know there is a big hole in your heart right now but just know that she is in a better place and is not sick anymore. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Take care.

Lori was a great inspiration to me during the time I did devotional at the senior center in Wilson. I use to stop by her room at Britthaven and she would greet me with that wonderful disposition. She was always quick to give encouragement to anyone around her. I lost track of her over the past few years but she has never left my thoughts and prayers. She was so proud of her son and she beamed with pride every time he was near. God will bless you with many great memories because she was such a lover and a fighter for life. God bless you all.

I tried to get the word about Lori out on Facebook after Ann Mitchell Blake contacted me last p.m. Me being in Charlotte that is the only way I knew how to do it. My love goes out to you. If I can help in any other way let me know. Sorry I cannot make it home to Ahoskie. I just got back from Ahoskie going to my Aunt Addie Mae Askews Funeral. My health is not good so I cannot turn around and make the trip again. So please know my mind and thoughts are wit you. If you do not know who I am, I am Raleigh and Hazel Harmon’s daughter and I graduated with Lori at Ahoskie High School Class of ’81. We were in most classes together. Know my prayers are with you. I went to school with Lori and am from the class of 81′. From grade 1-12. Lori was a very sweet girl, and I remember that she had a sense of humor and used to make us laugh. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to you all at this sad time. Only time can help and it probably seems like nothing no one can say now helps. My love goes out to you.
