CONWAY, NC – Louise Harrell Vann, age 90, passed away on March 10, 2020.

Mrs. Vann was born in Hertford County, NC, a daughter of the late Manley Abram and Olivia Parker Harrell.  She was a homemaker and mother.

Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her sister, Alice H. Woodard, and a brother, George Harrell.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband George Thomas Vann, her daughters, Shelby V. (Nathan) Bullock, Cynthia V. (John) Springer, Georgette Vann, and Amy V. Price, M.D;  and son, George T. (Angie) Vann, Jr.; two sisters-in-laws, Rockie V. Brett, and Bessie Harrell; and brother-in-law, Ted Woodard; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 10:30 am until 11:30 am at Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church
Fellowship Hall, Conway, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 11:30 am at the Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church, Conway, NC, with Rev. David Ross officiating.  Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church, 2152 Ashley’s Grove Road, Conway, NC, 27820.

I was so sorry to hear about Miss Louise. I have many fond memories from my childhood at AGBC that include her and Mr George Thomas. Mama sends her love to all. God bless each of you.
