Luther Russell “Butch” Jones, Jr., 62, died Saturday, August 11, 2012.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Whitakers Chapel Cemetery in Enfield.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Butch was a loving brother and a wonderful uncle. He worked for Enfield Tractor for 35 years and enjoyed NASCAR and working on his tractor collection.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Pattie Jones.
He is survived by his sisters, Mollie Hale and husband Gerald and Nellie Williams and husband Robert all of Enfield; brother, Bobby Jones and wife Elaine of Nashville; nieces and nephews, Amanda Casper, Courtney Hale, Claudia Hale, Samuel Williams, Russ Williams, Michael Jones, Jason Jones, and Brandon Jones; and three great-nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Dr. Daniel Crocker and his staff, Nash Health Care System Oncology Unit, and Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center.
