Lynn Lassiter Blowe age 47 of Rich Square, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC.
She was born on April 12, 1970 to David and Ruth Lassiter of Rich Square, NC. Lynn graduated from Northeast Academy and from Roanoke Chowan College receiving her Associate’s Degree in Special Education and Early Childhood Development. She was married to James Carlton Blowe on June 16, 2001. Lynn worked as a secretary for twelve years for her father at Farm and Home Gas. She also worked as a CNA for a number of years until retiring due to her health. She was a member the Lasker Baptist Church and enjoyed working in the nursery. She had a tremendous love for children.
Lynn is survived by her husband Carl of the home, her mother and father, David and Ruth Lassiter of Rich Square one sister, Susan Ellen Lassiter and her partner Nicole Smith of Hampstead, NC, niece, Hadley Smith-Lassiter and nephew Hudson Graham Smith Lassiter of Hampstead, NC, who loved their Aunt Penny. Surviving is niece Savannah Rayne Southard of Littleton, NC and nephew, Phillip Jeremy Bryant of Waynesville, NC. Also surviving is her mother-in-law, Myrell Blowe of Rich Square, NC, two sisters-in-law, Dana Southard of Littleton, NC and Donna Morris of Aulander, NC and brother-in-law, Jerome Blowe of Rich Square, NC, as well several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 from 7:00-8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Service of Rich Square, NC.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Lasker Baptist Church in Lasker NC with the Rev. Ricky Barnes officiating.

I a bit older than Lynn but I remember when my aunt Rodillia used to care for Lynn and her sister they both were sweet girls, if my aunt was still here she would be heart broken sorry for your loss
