So sorry to learn of Mrs. Simons’ passing. She and her husband lived in my great-grandparents’ house for many years (the Oakey house). She was so gracious when we had an Oakey reunion in Powellsville at the church. We stopped by unexpectedly to visit and she welcomed us in and let us tour the house. Such memories we all had! I’ve never forgotten her kindness and her hospitality that day. God’s blessings on her family during such a hard time.
