Mrs. Minton was my Home Economics teacher when I was in middle school. She was an awesome person. Sad she is no longer here.

I always liked Mrs. Minton, as i referred to her during my high school days. She always seemed so reserved and mild mannered. My condolences to Sarah and Lil and the rest of the family.

Our friendship with Margie Rhea and Percy dates back to 1948. We were part of a couples group that got together often and who shared each other’s special occasions. Besides us and the Mintons, this group included:
Peg & Norman Earl Godwin
Doris & Milton Flythe
Hazel & Joe Bryant
Gertrude & Wayne Myers
Iris & Henry Bazemore
Angela & Mervin Early
What wonderful times we had over the years. Margie Rhea and Percy enriched our lives and we’re grateful they’re now reunited in Heaven.

Sincerely,
Dot & Bob Newsome
