Mattie Lawrence Bryant, 79, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck.
Mattie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Gayle Pittman and husband Steve of Scotland Neck; son, Landon Lynn Lawrence and wife Kathy of Aulander; sister, Fannie Mae Peace and husband Tom of Nashville; four grandchildren, Tracey Cole David and husband Mario, Susan Michelle Simpson and husband Sean, LeAnne Lawrence, and Crystal Dawn Tate and husband Sherwin; and five great-grandchildren, Chloe Simpson, Joshua Simpson, Austin Tate, Tyler Tate, and Alyssa Tate.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
