Maude Bryant Robbins, 80, died Thursday, May 12, 2016.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Sunnyside Cemetery in Scotland Neck. The Reverend Doctor James Drake and the Reverend Doctor Allen Cherry will be presiding.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
Maude was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born on July 27, 1935 in Scotland Neck and loved music and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cullen and Ellen Bryant; her sister, Pauline Bryant King; her brother, William Cullen “Billy” Bryant; and her granddaughter, Anna Kaitlin “KK” Robbins.
Maude is survived by her husband of 64 years, Willie Andrew Robbins; her daughter, Carolyn Robbins Hyde of Scotland Neck; her sons, Andy Robbins and wife Donna of Murfreesboro and Ricky Robbins and wife Barbara of Scotland Neck; her sister, Mary Bruner and husband Howard of Jacksonville, FL; her sister-in-law, Judy Bryant of Winterville; five grandchildren, Dale Hutchinson, II, April Hutchinson, Ricky Hutchinson, Andrew Robbins, and Meghan Robbins; five great-grandchildren, Andre Hutchinson, Jade Hutchinson, Temira Hutchinson, Anna Hutchinson, and Aaron Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Letchworth Funeral Home in Scotland Neck.
