AHOSKIE, NC – Molly Erin Leggett, age 22, formerly of Conway, died suddenly after a tragic car accident on Tuesday, August 6, 2019.
Molly was born on February 19, 1997 to Al and Brett Duncan Leggett in Ahoskie, NC. Molly graduated from Northampton County High School where she enjoyed playing tennis and softball. Upon graduation she attended Western Carolina University before returning back to the area and settling down in Ahoskie. Molly was a quiet, hard-working, spunky girl that loved life. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Molly was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Lee Duncan, and her paternal grandmother, Mary Harrington Leggett.
Left to cherish Molly’s memory are her parents, Al and Brett Leggett of Conway, sister, Allyson Leggett of Pendleton, NC; twin brother, Lee Leggett of Conway, NC; precious niece, Paisley Allen; maternal grandmother, Jackie Hardy and husband Paul of Scotland Neck, NC; paternal grandfather, Don Leggett of Rich Square, NC and friend Barbara Hasty; three uncles, Paul Duncan and wife Desi of Rocky Mount, NC, Donnie Leggett and wife Wendy of Raleigh, NC, Steve Leggett and wife Carol of Garner, NC; along with a host of cousins and extended family.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019, 2:00 pm at the Conway Baptist Church, Conway, NC, with Rev. Jayson Rowe and Rev Bob Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
